THE CONCEPT
Represent the departments diversity and energy
Design a series of posters for Visual Art Department events—each reflecting its season and purpose while representing the range of student work across graphic design, studio art, and photography.
THE SOLUTION
Three events, three visual approaches
The Spring Portfolio Show uses vibrant color and Bauhaus-inspired composition—clean, energetic, and professional. The Fall/Winter Portfolio Show employs cool tones and layered forms suggesting a melting glacier—symbolizing the process of developing skills and building a portfolio. The Student Gallery poster combines department colors with icons representing each major, creating a unified system that celebrates the breadth of student work on display.
